There is also a traditional Shepherd’s Pie filled with a tender lamb ragout and fresh green peas and topped with creamy mashed potato. On the more eclectic side, but still adding to ‘the craic’ – that unmistakable Irish sense of communal fun and entertainment – are Irish chicken wings glazed in a smoky chipotle sauce, and the contemporary Irish Spice Bag, a portion of fried chicken and chips served in a paper bag (just like fish and chips) accompanied by a piquant curry dipping sauce.
